Great Website for Married & Engaged Couples

The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops' Committee on Family Life has unveiled a new campaign aimed at strengthening marriage in the U.S. A series of public service announcements will run on TV & radio featuring couples talking about what they did that day to help strengthen their marriages. There is also a website called "For Your Marriage" with resources to help couples at all stages from engagement, newlyweds, parents of young children, to empty nesters.

The website also offers brief daily marriage tips. Today's is:
“In every marriage more than a week old, there are grounds for divorce. The trick is to find, and continue to find grounds for marriage." (Robert Anderson, Solitaire/Double Solitaire) Today, discuss a significant value or belief that holds you and your spouse together.
DH and I share a commitment to working through the rough patches, that marriage is indeed "for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and cherish until death do us part?" It is challenging at times but worth the effort it takes to stay together in the face of a society that so often does not seem to value traditional marriage any more.
